Take You On a Trip encapsulates a love experience between two people, with musical elements of R&B melody lines, silky, ethereal vocals, electric violin, synth, and groovy 808. It is an expression of a beautiful love affair, with the electric violin solo signifying the female and the synth solo as the male.

Take You On a Trip fuses the a young, feminine voice and simple hook “Kiss it while you sip/Headin to the crib/Bite your bottom lip/Take you on a Trip” with extremely virtuosic, expressive solos and expansive harmony at the end of the song to signify a spiritual expression, a sexual transcendence that is described musically by the electric violin and synth duet in the outro.
